Terms and Conditions

1. The refer a friend offer entitles the Eligible Applicant and Eligible Referred Person to either a $250AUD digital gift card or home care package funds credit to the value of $250AUD (“Bonus”), at their selection upon a Successful New Home Care Package Customer Referral.

2. To be an Eligible Applicant, an individual must:

• be a current care recipient of home care services from Sensible Care and
• make a Successful New Home Care Package Customer Referral to Sensible Care.

3. A Successful New Home Care Package Customer Referral is made when the following criteria has been met:

• The Eligible Referred Person has applied to bring their home care package to Sensible Care between 22 April 2025 – 30th June 2025 (the Offer Period) via Sensible Care’s website at sensiblecare.com.au/refer-a-friend, by email at referrals@sensiblecare.com.au, or by phone at 1800 121 000.
• Sensible Care has accepted the referral and agreed to provide home care services to the Eligible Referred Person; and
• The Eligible Referred Person has been onboarded by Sensible Care within 30 days of the end of the Offer Period.

4. To be an Eligible Referred Person, an individual must:

• be assigned a home care package and provide their My Aged Care referral number to Sensible Care;
• not be a current or past Sensible Care recipient of home care package services; and
• currently live in a location where Sensible Care provides home care services.

5. Acceptance by Sensible Care is subject to availability and suitability at Sensible Care’s sole discretion and some applications may not be accepted.

6. Informal referrals, being those referrals that are not made in accordance with the criteria in clause 3 above, will not be eligible for this offer.

7. There is no limit on how many people an Eligible Applicant can refer.

8. This offer entitles the Eligible Applicant and the Eligible Referred Person to one Bonus each upon a Successful New Home Care Package Customer Referral. The Eligible Applicant and the Eligible Referred Person will not be eligible for another Bonus if the Eligible Referred Person later moves to another brand or service within Sensible Care.

9. The selected Bonus will be provided after a service agreement is signed and/or provision of services by Sensible Care have commenced (Eligible Date). 8 weeks should be allowed after the Eligible Date, for delivery of the Bonus (in the case of a digital gift card) or application of the Bonus in home care package funds (in the case of credit).

10. This offer is current as of 22 April 2025 and can be altered or withdrawn at any time. Sensible Care reserves the right to change the offer conditions at any time.

11. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other promotional offer.

12. (if credit is selected) Credit will be applied to the Eligible Applicant and/or the Eligible Referred Person’s (as the case may be) home care package unspent funds balance to be used on home care services in accordance with their care plan.

13. (if a gift card is selected) Gift cards are digital gift cards issued by www.giftcards.com.au  (ABN 11 004 089 936). All gift cards will be delivered by email. The recipient acknowledges that their use of the gift card is subject to the terms of sale and terms of service published at https://www.giftcards.com.au/CMS/Page/giftcardtermsofpurchase/ which may include an expiry date and restrictions on usage. Gift cards are valid for use until Expiry Date. The gift cards are provided as part of a promotional offer and expired gift cards will not be replaced. Sensible Care will not be held responsible for any damaged or lost gift cards and no replacement will be provided.
